FAFI

Originally from Toulouse, Fafi's omnipresence in the world of art and graffiti was first noticed on the walls of her hometown in 1994. At that time, his sexy and fun female characters, sometimes aggressive, attracted the attention of the whole world and contributed to the emergence of a whole new graphic language. Exploring femininity through her stereotypes, using them to her advantage, Fafi captured the attention of a wide audience and thus began to travel around the world, with thousands of Fafinettes in her brushes and paint pots. Europe, USA, Japan, Hong Kong, the planet is a playground, and it was only the beginning.

Quickly, Sony offered him to draw 6 characters for the "Time Capsules" toy collection, an evolution of his characters in almost natural 3 dimensions. Other figurines will be created, as well as many exhibitions and collaborations with Colette, Adidas, LeSportSac, Coca Cola, and multiple articles in the most prestigious magazines (Vogue, Elle, The Face, XLR8R, Yen, etc.). The world of 3D animation begins to get an eye on him in Mark Ronson's video featuring a "fafinetized" Lily Allen. Fafi's multifaceted work is documented in his books GIRLS ROCK (2003) and LOVE AND FAFINESS (2006), two great successes found in museum bookstores and a selection of shops.

In 2007, Fafi entered a new phase. Became a mother and now living in Paris are factors that have introduced a new dimension in her creations. The Fafinettes are not only cool girls, but they also control a whole universe populated by creatures, houses and vehicles. This universe is called The Carmine Vault. It is an imaginary and curious world. Welcome on board.
