RETNA

RETNA is an American Street artist known for his typography and unique letter shapes. He joined the Los Angeles wall stage as a teenager, developed his style which consisted of texts, lines and complex overlays, a wide range of colors, and refined details with a brush. RETNA incorporates elements of fine arts and graffiti into its compositions, combines visual linguistics, urban poetry and fashion imagery to explore many mediums, such as graffiti, photography and painting. Born Marquis Lewis on March 24, 1979 in Los Angeles, RETNA lives and still works there. He exhibits all over the world, especially in L.A. Art Machine in Los Angeles, Don Gallery in Milan, Yves Laroche Art Gallery in Montreal and Art for All in Malaga.
